Nutrition Program
Nutrition Program
At Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School, we are committed to supporting student well-being and readiness to learn through our school Nutrition Program.
What we offer:
- Morning Breakfast Program: Students can access a variety of healthy “grab and go” options each morning, including fresh fruit, vegetables, muffins, bagels, and yogurt. Nutrition carts are conveniently located outside the Library Learning Commons and in the Main Office.
- Bagged Lunches: A limited number of bagged lunches are available for students each day.
How the program operates: Our Nutrition Program is coordinated by our Teacher-Librarian, Mr. Cowan, with the support of dedicated student volunteers.
Funding: This program is fully funded through the support of Tastebuds.
Important information for families: We are committed to making our Nutrition Program inclusive and accessible. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform the school so we can do our best to accommodate their needs safely.
